Joseph Long is the firm's Managing Partner, having succeeded Mark Nicholson in the role in January 2022. Based in both Lowestoft and Norwich, Joseph specialises in corporate and commercial law.

Joseph advises companies, partnerships and sole traders on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including business and company acquisitions and disposals, management buy outs, debt and equity finance, shareholder and partnership agreements, and general commercial contracts. Joseph has received praise for his corporate work in the Legal 500 directory, which commented that he "provides practical solutions to complex matters", and which recommended him for "complex corporate and commercial transactions".

As part of his commercial work, Joseph also advises on a range of property matters including commercial leases and the sale and purchase of commercial property.

Joseph qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and previously headed the commercial department at a Norwich and North Norfolk-based firm, before joining Nicholsons in 2014.
