Jade Tinney
Partner — Commercial Property
Jade is a Partner in the Commercial Property team, advising businesses, investors, landowners, farmers, charities and not-for-profit organisations on a broad range of property matters.
Having joined Nicholsons in 2020, Jade brings extensive experience in commercial property transactions, having previously led the commercial team at a regional law firm. She qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and is based in Norwich, while also supporting clients from the firm's Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth offices.
Jade has particular expertise in commercial landlord and tenant matters, advising both landlords and occupiers on the full lifecycle of commercial leases, including lease acquisitions, renewals, assignments, underlettings, licences, variations and matters arising during the course of a tenancy. Her experience acting for both sides of the landlord and tenant relationship enables her to provide commercially balanced advice and a clear understanding of the priorities and negotiating positions of each party.
In addition to her landlord and tenant work, Jade advises on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, property development and secured lending. She also has particular experience in agricultural and rural property, advising farmers and landowners on transactions involving valuable and often complex rural assets.
Alongside her commercial property work, Jade advises charities and organisations in the not-for-profit sector on property matters, helping trustees and organisations navigate the additional legal and regulatory considerations that apply to charity-owned land.
Jade is recognised for providing clear, commercially focused advice and for building long-term relationships with clients who value a pragmatic approach to complex property issues.
