Claire joined Nicholsons in August 2021 as a Partner in the Private Client Department. Claire qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 with a local regional firm.

Based in the Norwich office, Claire is able to advise clients from across East Anglia on a wide range of matters including Wills (and in particular Will Trusts), Trusts, the Administration of Estates and Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.

Claire has experience dealing with complex estates including high value estates, estates with business and agricultural assets and estates with foreign assets and is confident providing advice to both individuals and Executors in respect of inheritance tax and capital gains tax issues.

In terms of Court of Protection work, Claire has experience making applications to the Court to appoint Finance and Welfare Deputies and sell property on behalf of somebody lacking capacity.
